Customer Reviews
Average rating: | Kelp tablets in the news, 2nd Apr 2010 | Reviewer: Julie Goodwin | After being photographed coming out of a health store carrying A.Vogel Kelp tablets, Alex Curran (Gerrard) has explained in an interview in New magazine that she takes the tablets to improve the condition of her hair after having hair extensions removed. It is true that lack of iodine, contained in kelp, can contribute to unhealthy hair and skin. Iodine should only be taken in small quantities; the RDA is 150mcg daily. A.Vogel Kelp tablets contain 50mcg each and the recommended dose is 2 to 3 daily, giving a maximum of 150mcg per day, and this dose should not be exceeded. |
